Ask me to suggest a lipstick and MAC is the first brand that pops up in my mind!
It is the holy grail of cosmetics that has a wide range of lipsticks, differing in textures and finishes. There are a million different types of MAC Lipsticks but "Retro Matte" and "Matte" win my heart. I say it without a shadow of a doubt that any girl can find the perfect shade from the MAC range!
I appreciate the tastelessness of MAC Lipsticks. That classic vanilla scent, bullet case and the unmatchable quality makes these lipsticks stand out! The price is a little on the steeper side but ₹1500 for this little heaven of luxury is reasonable.
MAC Retro Matte and Matte tend to dry out your lips so a little prepping must be done. Just moisturize your lips and you're good to go!
Here are my favorites from MAC.
Ruby Woo is the KING of red lipsticks. It lasts forever and the color suits all skin tones. If you want just one lipstick from MAC, go for this! It's the true matte red color that'll surely get you loads of compliments. This baby is all time favorite!
Relentlessly Red is a Retro Matte finish that gives an opaque coverage in one go. Even though it's slightly drying on the lips, the silver lining here is the staying power! Doesn't budge for good 6 hours and that bright pinkish red shade is perfect for summers!
Pink Pigeon is a true blue neon pink in Matte finish. It is the brightest pink in my collection. Perfect pink to team up with your whites on a bright sunny day.
Flat Out Fabulous is one of my favorite pinks. With a Retro Matte texture, it hardly budges. It is a bright pink-plum color. I somehow find this one not to be too trying as the other retro mattes. It is a gorgeous pink shade that would compliment the Indian complexion well.
All Fired Up is another Retro Matte lipstick which is a warm reddish fuchsia with a matte finish. Describing this color is a bit confusing but that's the beauty of it. It's the perfect pink with red undertones. With that impeccable color pay off and an amazing stay, this beauty is an absolute favorite!
